Devin Brown

I’m Devin, a tattoo artist based in Kennewick, WA, serving the Tri-Cities and Eastern Washington. Born and raised in Yakima, I’ve been tattooing professionally since 2018, but I’ve been around tattoos for as long as I can remember.
When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time hanging out in a tattoo shop in Yakima where my brother, Matt Brown, was working in the early 2000’s. He’s the one who taught me how to tattoo and laid the foundation for the artist I’ve become. Growing up in that environment made tattooing a natural part of my life, and it’s something I genuinely love doing.
Outside the shop, I’m all about hanging out with the fam, taking vacations (hopefully at the beach), maintaining my figure with good food, and hitting the gym for a workout or getting some good rolls in doing BJJ.
Before tattooing, I spent years traveling the country selling vacuums door to door. Yeah you read that right. If you can convince someone to buy a vacuum at 8 p.m. on a Tuesday night, talking through a tattoo design is easy. Eventually I traded in the vacuums for a tattoo machine, and the rest is history.
Black and gray tattoos are where my heart is, though I’ll take on color projects when it’s the right fit. I love collaborating with clients to design meaningful, custom tattoos — but if you already have something in mind, I’m just as happy to make your design real. From simple pieces to complex sleeves, every tattoo matters to me.
Every tattoo is different, but most fall into a few main styles. Here are the categories I focus on. If your idea fits into one of these, you’ve found the right artist.
